PUPPY GUARANTEE

Before your puppy is received, it will be checked by our licensed Veterinarian.  The puppy is guaranteed until one year of age against genetic or congenital defects or dies in the first year because of these defects. A written Veterinarian’s report along with an autopsy report must be submitted by a licensed veterinarian at buyer’s expense. Your puppy is guaranteed against hip dysplasia for one year as well. Our puppy parents have been chosen with the utmost care based on thier genetics to prevent hip dyspasia. Only an Orthopedic Foundation for Animals OFA certified veterinary report showing severe hip dysplasia will be accepted. Only a board certified cardiologist report will be accepted for heart conditions that are life threatening or fatal. The seller must be notified of the problem within 24 hours of the licensed veterinarian’s determination.

If the puppy dies and the veterinarian autopsy determines the cause to be congenital the seller will replace the puppy with the first available puppy of the same value as soon as possible. No replacement puppy will be given if the puppy has been euthanized without prior permission of the seller.

A returned puppy must be returned to the seller in good condition, other than the specified problem, at the buyer’s expense.  The buyer will then qualify for a replacement puppy of equal value (determined by the seller) out of the next available litter.

The buyer is responsible for transportation cost to and from the seller.  There will be no cash refund.  The seller is not responsible for shipping charges to transport a puppy back and forth or to transport the replacement puppy in the event of a return or replacement for any reason.  Any attorney fees involved in fulfilling this contract are the responsibility of the buyer.

Any physical problem which is or could be the result of injury, over feeding, underfeeding, excessive crating or if puppy does not have a record of maintenance of veterinary care up to date records of vaccinations, de-worming and heart guard etc. are not covered in this guarantee.  We will not replace your puppy for ear mites or ear infections, parasites AKA worms, protozoan and external parasites or shipping colds: AKA kennel cough, bordatella, pneumonia, flu, bronchitis or URI. Your vet will offer a medication to remedy the problem.  This gaurantee does not include hernias/ruptures, hypoglycemia, coccidosis or giardia which can happen in puppies that are stressed from moving to new homes.  Other certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, such as allergies, thyroid dysfunction, mange, and other autoimmune disorders are not covered in this guarantee.

All veterinarian charges, incurred by the buyer, are the sole responsibility of the buyer and will under no circumstances be paid by the seller. Including spay or neuter charges.  The seller guarantees a healthy companion pet but does not guarantee breeding or show quality, adult size, color coat type ear set or temperament.

The most important thing you can do for the good health of your puppy is to complete the worming and vaccinations needed to ensure your puppy continues to enjoy good health. Your vet should set you up on a schedule for this.  We cannot guarantee total immunity for your puppy as the shots received are just a few in a series and your vet will need to complete them in a timely schedule.

We cannot guarantee adult size, color or temperament as housing, feeding, rearing and treatment of puppies is controlled by the buyer.  We do however do our best to estimate the size when grown based on the parents size. Some puppies will lighten or darken in color as they get older. Also what you feed them including vitamins and supplements is very important. Follow your vets advise on brands of food and proper vitamins and supplements. A cheap low quality dog food is likely to lead to health issues and should not be used.
